I am new to the Norristown area and I don't know any other moms in the area, so chosing a pediatrician has been difficult. I was wondering if moms in the area could give me some names or advice on good Pediatricians in Norristown.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We decided to go with Kids First Paoli and so far so good. They have been speedy during appointments, having caring nurses and doctors, and have night time availablity. Thanks to everyone for their responses, this really helped me!!

Hi L.,

I use Trappe Pediatric Care. They are in Collegeville off Rt. 113 outside of Trappe. It would probably take you 15-20 minutes to get to, as it does for me. This has never been a problem.. I have been with Dr. Brogan for 7 years. He is the primary Dr. and there are 3 other Peds plus nurse practitioners. I have seen all the Dr's and am happy with them all. They are very knowledgeable and treat you with respect.Phone ####-###-####.

We go to Pediatric Medical Associates (PMA) in East Norriton and have been happy there. Here's the site address: www.pmadocs.com. Good luck with your little girl!

I would also highly reccomend kids first, the CHOP nurses are great as are there doctors, sometimes you may wait a while for your appointment, but once you see someone they spend a good ammount of time with your child.

I live in KoP and we go to Kid's First in Paoli. I think they are in the process of changing their name to something that includes CHOP, but the number there is ###-###-####. We see Dr. Schetman, but all the doctors there are wonderful, and the nurses are very helpful and understanding. It's worth the extra drive!!!

Kid's First is a practice associated with the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. They have branches all over. And a CHOP nurse always calls you back. http://www.chop.edu/consumer/jsp/pcfs/kf_index.jsp Good luck!
