Just found out I am pregnant with baby #4! YEAH!! We have three girls and every year we do a photo card. This year I want to announce the pregnancy in the card. I saw a photo collage card that was really cute. It was the type of card you can open so I thought of putting something on the front and then announcing the baby on the inside of the card. Can anyone suggest some ideas for the wording? When we announced baby #3 we had cute little candy tins made that had a stork on the front that said, "we did it again! Baby coming in 2010.

It could either Merry Christmas wording or I was thinking of something like, "We had a blessed 2011" and then on the inside something about the new baby and 2012.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Cute ideas! Thank you! To answer some of ya'lls questions about announcing the pregnancy early; we have always announced it pretty much right after getting a positive pregnancy test. I don't like waiting until the first trimester is over. If I miscarry then we will just tell people. But, I have never had a problem in pregnancy, all kids healthy and 2 have been born at home as will this one.

We don't have ultrasounds either so no ultrasound pictures in cards.

Set-up your stockings and add an extra one for baby. Label each one with existing family member's names and put in the card "Requesting name ideas for the 6th stocking!" (or 4th if you only do the kids')

Sign the card with everyone's names and Baby M.

This year we asked Santa for a little more, next year we'll be celebrating with Baby #4.

The Christmas I was newly pregnant with our first, we put it on the cards very simply: After the Christmas message, it said "With love from, Matt, Hallie and baby-to-be. Of course, most people probably knew by then anyway (it was not our way of announcement) but some probably learned through the card. Not creative, but it's what we did

Santa came to our house early this year to drop off a little BABY cheer! Our new addition is scheduled to arrive in Month 2012.

In 2012 you'll find we have more, we'll be celebrating the arrival of baby #4!

Husband's name & I stood under the mistletoe and now I'm carrying baby #4.

In the photo collage have a picture in which everyone in the family places a hand on your belly. You can add - coming in 2012 baby #4

If you do a card with four photos, you could put one picture of each kid and then in the fourth slot, put the due date.

Congratulations! I am a mom of 3 girls and expecting #4 next year as well. Luckily I am getting my 8 weeks ultrasound next week. I am making a collage of all 4 kiddos to send with our cards.

If you are comfortable announcing your pregnancy early:

"and Santa's going to swing by in (month due) with Baby Number Four".

Late 'stocking stuffer' but still in keeping with the theme.

how far along are you? Wait until you are 100% certain everything is ok with baby before announcing to the world.

Your suggestion sounds great though. Stick with that.

Do your photo collage on the front...

Inside:
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Smiths
(We'll Be Welcoming a 4th Blessing in July 2012!)

I, too might consider holding off if you're not through the 1st tri yet.

Congrats!
