Need to Find a Good Contractor to Remodel a Shower

We need to remodel our shower. Basically have the old cultured marble removed and replaced with tile, a new shower floor and new doors. We had one company come out to quote this and it seemed extremely expensive. Have any of you had a shower remodeled? How much was it? Can you recommend anyone?

What can I do next?

We had our master bath stand-up shower completely ripped out and redone. We had tile put in as well as a frameless shower door. Also we had them tile the floors and half way up the wall and topped off with a decorative border. They also tiled the top and side of our cultured marbeled roman tub next to the master shower. We also had them tile the other bathroom floor as well. They did a great job, and were very clean & polite as well. The (small)company is Innovative Tile - owner is Keith Ryder. Ph- ###-###-#### C # 48-100511 L# 48-101758. We know him from my daughter's gymnastics class. He used to do custom homes, but now does remodels due to the economy. They had someone else come in to do the plumbing part ( did great job too) and he gave us the names of several places to get the shower doors from the shower door. Turned out great. Sounds like you're wanting to get the same thing done, makes a huge difference !

Hi H.,

Coincidentally, we are almost through remodeling our master bathroom shower. We are just waiting on the rest of the glass to be installed later this week. My neighbor did all our demo and tile work and did a great job. He also recommended our glass door guy and coordinated all of that. He has years of experience in whole house remodeling. He wasn't the cheapest estimate we received but I think you get what you pay for and his workmanship and work ethic is top-notch. He charged us $2080 for demo, cutting and installing all the tile, installing the shower body set and clean-up. The shower door and glass was another $1450. And, of course, the cost of your tile depending on what you choose. If your interested in getting an estimate from him, let me know your contact info and I'd be happy to ask him to call you.
