Hi,
can anyone recommend OB GYN that delivers at ADVOCATE GOOD SHEPHERD HOSPITAL (Barrington)? Also, due to my personal believes, I would like to find one that doesn't perform abortions.

Thanks for all suggestions. I ended up choosing Dr. Novas, Dohr and Coll, as they were one of the few covered under my insurance. I recently went for the appointment there, and everyone seem to be very professional. So far I am happy with my choice.
Dr.Keith is the newest to the Novas, Dohr, and Coll group and she is fantastic! I was a little nervous b/c she was new but she took wonderful care of me w/the birth of my son. All the Dr.'s in that group are great. Dr. Novas is not too friendly but the others are. Highly recommend the group. Great service at the office. All the women working there are so wonderful.
My OBGYN delivers there...Novas and Associates in Barrington. Their number is ###-###-####. I think they have a website, which might be www.novasassociates.com. I was very happy with them!
Also avoid Dr.perlis and her associates.
A larger number of moms in my moms group use Novas, Dohr & Coll.

i don't belive he does. he is my ob gyn, and he delived my sisters child.
You should call Dr. Robert Pines at Barrington Health Care for Women. He is a terrific doctor. I haven't seen any of the other doctors there, but he is wonderful.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Crandall and he is in Lake Barrington. He delivers at Good Shepherd and is great. I do not know if he does abortions or not i never had to ask. Their number is ###-###-####.
Dr. Pines Barrignton Health Care for Women. Located on Route 22 across from Good Shepherd. ###-###-#### I think that's the phone number. There are 4 doctors associated with this practice.
I love Novas, Dohr & Coll practice in Barrington and they deliver at Good Shepherd, they are the best! All women practice. Everyone I have referred to them love them too! Goodluck!
Dr. Daniel Pesavento! He is not in a group practice so you always see him. He is absolutely wonderful. He delivered both of my children and was with me from the start of my labor until the end. I never worried that another doctor who I was not familiar with would be delivering my children.
I do not know if he performs abortions as I have never asked since it is not a choice for me.
Well, I can tell you who I do not recommend....Barrington Obstetrics and Gynecology. I felt that they were just had too many patients, very impersonal and I never really felt comfortable.
Dr. Thomas Meyer/Dr. David Crandall in Lake Barrington. ###-###-####. Dr. Meyer delivered our 1st son 2 years ago and our second son 2 days ago. I truly don't know if they do abortions, though. I'd be surprised if they did, to be honest.

I just recently changed doctors and am seeing Dr. Pines & Dr. Smith. I am expecting identical twins and they have been wonderful. Very attentive and give you lots of information. I was hesitant about going to males as I was with females in the past but they are great. I also have a neighbor that is a delivery nurse at Good Shephard and she said they are 2 of the best doctors they have deliver at that hospital. Good luck and congrats!!
