Need Help with Bath Time 11Month Old Crying Everytime Gets in Bath

Did you try sitting yourself in the big tub with small amount of water and her soap with her on your lap. This could be slippery so hubby should lay her on you once you're in the tub and settled. Lay a warm soapy hand towel or small towel on your legs so as not to be to slippery while you're handeling her. Take all the precautions you can to being a responsible mama; i'm sure you will. If she's facing you on your legs you can talk and sing and entertain her thru the bath. Call hubby when she's ready to come out. You'll probably want a bath yourself after that.

I think kids sometimes go through phases of this. My little one has had several bouts of not wanting to be in the bathtub. It seems to pass. If she sees others in a book going to the bath, then she will ask to go too. Or sometimes if she has exciting toys for the tub and thinks about splashing then she gets excited again about getting in. It certainly is a challenge. I know my little one is also sensitive about getting water in her eyes even though I use a tear-free shampoo. good luck

Make sure the air temp in the bathroom is plenty warm. We always have a ceramic standing heater blowing in our kids' bathroom.

give her a doll to bathe, that did it for both of my girls at that age.

Another trick is to buy the bathtub paints, they love that too.

I'm a single mother and have no other option really but to but my son in the shower with me in the morning. I can't leave him unattended while I shower and as it turns out he loves it! I give myself some extra time in the morning and get down and play with him for a bit and he plays solo while I finish my shower. Just a suggestion because maybe your child will be more comfortable with you in the water with them and eventually let you switch back to baths when they're comfortable.

My 2 1/2 year old normally loves the water and taking a bath but he does this every couple of months. We usually rotate in new bath toys or let him choose something that he wants to bring in with him. This has worked every time so far (knock on wood).

my son (now 2 1/2) went through this as well. seems totally normal. maybe reintroducing the water little by little and letting her play (dabble) with it so she is comfortable again (let her pick out a good water toy to play with so bath time is fun). i wouldn't stress about it especially since at 11 mos. she likely doesn't need a bath everyday anyway. good luck!
