An old flatmate is coming to stay with us Tuesday. Her last visit, we went to the Stockyards and to downtown Dallas. I'd love some FUN, unique ideas that are special to Texas. And, I'd prefer to stay in the area (near McKinney) as I have three small children that may accompany us in some of the activities. She is staying through Wednesday morning. An early morning in downtown McKinney. It is gorgeous and full of shops and restaurants. There are a few wineries, Landons is our favorite. Sauce has awesome salad and pizzas!
How about Southfork, where they filmed Dallas in the 80's? You can tour the house that they used...
Here's some things you can do in the area w/ the kids. The Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium is fun indoor swimming and cheap! Dave & Busters in Stonebriar and there is an outdoor play and waterpark in Allen called Celebration Park 500 N Malone Rd, Allen, TX 75002. Hope you have fun!
