I have just moved to Texas and just found out I was pregnant again. This is a high risk pregnancy so I need a good OB/GYN and the hospital I deliver at needs to have a good Neonatal dept. I live in Round Rock so any help is greatly appriciated.

What can I do next?

I have a set of 4 year old twins, which was a high risk and I had a some complications. I was given the name of Dr. Michelle Irvin in Round Rock and we delivered at Round Rock Hospital too. All the nurses were great!

I went to celeste Sheppard at Hill Country Fetal and Maternal Medicine. She is great. I got an ultrasound every time I went. it was such a great exprience. you can get a video tape also. I got to watch my son grow and develop every two weeks. She is off JOllyville Road.

C.,
I had a high risk pregnancy and delivery as well. I'd highly recommend my OB-Sherry Neyman @ Renaissance Women's Group. Their number is ###-###-####. Their staff is great and so sweet! Everything is in one building from the blood work to sonograms. We delivered at North Austin Medical Center and their L&D, Postpartum & NICU staff were excellent as well. I think they have a better facility that Round Rock and worth the little extra drive. I live in Round Rock as well and made it to the hospital in 9 minutes! :o)

Congratulations!

Congratulations! My recommendation is Dr. Margaret Thompson with OB-GYN North ###-###-####). She's located directly behind North Austin Medical Center and she's fabulous! North Austin Medical Center's Labor & Delivery as well as their Postpartum and NICU are amazing. I had an emergency c-section with my first child and I can't say enough good stuff about the staff there. My 2nd was a repeat c-section and the experience was great as well.

I delivered both of my children at Seton NW, but have had experiences (with other moms giving birth and through labor delivery classes) at both North West Medical Center and Round Rock - both hospitals really pale in comparison to my doctor and the L&D staff at Seton NW. My doctor (and my sister's too) was Renee Lockey with ARC, located in Seton NW. The facility can not be beat as far as kind, caring, attentive, clean staff and evironment. The suites are much larger to fit in the families in the Recovery room than at Round Rock Medical Center also - so if you have a large family/friends - they are the way to go.
