Hi there Ladies! I am curious about the new leg/butt/thigh toning shoes out there. I keep seeing them is so Many ads and more and more shoe brands are coming out with their own versions. Has anyone used these and what brand? Did you get results or could you feel them working? I don't want to waste the money if I don't get results! Thank you!

What can I do next?

HI L.,

They are fantastic. I own two pairs of the original that came out many years ago called MBT. It is a Swiss company that designed them after the Masai tribe in Africa (Masai Barefoot Technology) because they have no foot, leg or back issues and walk barefoot. My shoes do everything they claim they do. I don't even like to walk in other shoes anymore. Besides toning, they help with posture and fatigue. Mine are pricier (at $250.00 a pair) but the company will replace the soles for the life of the shoe as they wear...

The only issue I have is because I am small and the bottoms of the shoes are rounded, I don't have enough weight to steady myself if I'm climbing a ladder or moving in different directions. walking up and down hills is great...My husband who has three pairs and my sister who has one as well don't have this problem at all.

Happy shopping!

M.

I have the Champion ones from Payless. They are 39.99 and do a great job. I am on my feet all day and like a previous poster, I don't have near the feet, leg and back aches that I used to have. I love them and I didn't pay a fortune for them. I also saw some Danskins at Walmart for 29.99.

I have the Reebok Easy Tones and the big thing I noticed wearing them regularly was they helped with my back pain. I did not notice any toning help.

i have 2 pairs. i have a pair of sketchers flip flops and a pair of the LA gear sneakers. They are actually on sale right now on jcp.com

the sketchers are ok. they are requiring a lot of breaking in and rubbing between my toes, so i havent been able to wear them for a long enough distance to feel how well they are working my butt and thighs.

the LA gear ones are AMAZING. they are SUPER comfortable, they required no breaking in time and they definitely help! its not a huge difference, you arent so sore that you feel like you did a heavy work out or anything, but you can definitely feel them tightening up areas.

There was a thread on these the other day. If you look back, you will probably see it.
