Multivitamins

I have been taking a complete women's multivitamin for what seems like a hundred years and have to choke them down almost nightly. I usually have no problem with larger pills/capsules, but these literally get caught in my throat all the time. Unfortunately, I ordered from Puritan's Pride, and if you don't know about them, they almost always have a buy 2, get 3 free offer, so I have had what seems like an infinite supply (Just as a side note, I like all the other products I order from them). Well, I am down to my last 20 or so multivitamins and I'm not kidding when I tell you that I think I am going to throw a party when I take my last 2, I am so excited! Now, the question is, what do I replace them with? I liked these because they had a higher calcium content, among other things. Also, you only take 2 a day instead of the 4 that you often need for the same nutritional content (hence the size, I guess). I know that with capsules your body absorbs more of the vitamins, and I am almost willing to go back to my old prenatal (tho I won't be needing those for their intended purpose again). Do you have a multivitamin that you love? That's easy to swallow with a good percentage of calcium, A, Bs, etc.?
Oh, also, I am temporarily overseas so can't just stop into a local homeopathic store, but I do have an APO (military base) address so could get them shipped here if the company is willing, but only want to rely on a friend or family member ship as a last resort...

What can I do next?

I absolutely love taking Country Life multivitamins. They have multivitamins for both men and women. I just started taking their Core Daily-1 Multivitamins for Women. You take one tablet a day, and I've never had an issue with gagging them down. There is so much packed into one multivitamin, I'd have to get a magnifying glass to read them all the label. And the best part is, they are made with WHOLE FOODS, and they are organic! The price isn't bad. You can find them at Whole Foods; I order mine from a Web site called Vitacost.com, as they have a good discount on the products they sell.

I use Oligo.

Keep in mind, it's not just about what the vitamin contains but how much of it your body can actually absorb. Oligo is made in such a way to promote absorption and are many times more effective.

I cant take regular vitamins that you swallow. For some reason they give me horrible heartburn, and seem to get stuck in my throat no matter how much water or what I take with them.
So I switched to the chewable gummy kind. Soooo much better! They have extra immune support and energy in them too which is great in this season, or if you are around a billion other people like you are at a base overseas.
I would definitely recommend them.

I'm surprised there are big pills of vitamins that you have to take 2 pills a day. Certain vitamins are not eliminated from the body and their concentration build up in the body if too much is taken.

I really liked my prenatal vitamin from Target store brand. I find that multi-vitamins usually have awful taste or after taste, but the target brand was great!
