Publix will usually give you some. Also try the liquor store - they usually have sturdy cases.

Do not put yourself in danger going to strange peoples houses. The best moving boxes are free at any liquor store. They already come with dividers for glasses, and or just pull put the dividers. Some stores already have a pile set aside for people.
