We are hoping to have another child soon and we have been checking out the all the newest gear. The question that we have is about baby monitors. We have a 20 month old that is at the other end of the house. The new baby would be at the other end too. My son still has his monitor in his room. What monitors has anyone found that work best for having one in each bedroom. We don't want them to interfere with each other or the phones. So if anyone has any brand that they are using that worked well, please respond and help use to decide.Thank you.

I have 2 children and we have the Sony NTM-910 Baby call 900 MHz/27 channel monitors. It has the different channels that you can put them on if you start to get any interference. Each child has a different channel and they don't interfer with each other. We also have a 900 MHz phone and it doesn't interfere with the monitors. We had another brand when our 1st daughter was born and it had all kinds of interference and after a few weeks bought the Sony. We have had no problems with the Sony. It has a Voice Activation Mode on the monitor that we keep it set on. This way, you only hear something when they make a noise, cough, sneeze, cry. The other mode, we would hear more noise from their room. If we decide to have a 3rd child, we will be getting another one. We bought ours at Babies R Us, but you can find them online. We paid around $49.99 for it, but it was worth the money. I hope this helps. Good luck with trying for baby #2.

I don't know if they will interfere, but I have been using the Summer day and night picture monitor. I have the one that is portable not the bigger screen. I found that it's better since you can clip it to your pants or bring it outside, it's small but the picture is clear! It's expensive but worth every penny. It goes for around $170. but I got it for $115. on ebay brand new. It has a screen so you can watch the baby without having to go into the room and disturbing him/her. I love it. I used to use the inexpensive one and everything interfered with it. This one is great.... I live in an apt. with 2 floors over me and this monitor doesn't get any interference. I'm not sure what will happen with two, but I doubt it'll be a problem. I have an 8 month old and we're planning on having another one soon and I'm getting another one of these. Hope this helps!

we have this one and it works great .
one in each of the kids rooms and then one down stairs so if they are down stairs and we are up we can still hear whats going on.
