I am getting ready to have baby #2! I still use a monitor with my older child and would like to contiune to do so. This is probably a dumb question, but do I have to get two monitors or do they make one with two bases?
If I get two, will they interfere with each other?
Just looking for any suggestions.
Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have a Mobi Cam....one for each of my boys. They don't interfere with each other and actually can use just one to see both rooms. There is a switch where it will bounce from camera to camera. I find it works well. I feel better that I could actually see and hear both boys!

We purchased the Sony BabyCall Nursery Monitor and bought two systems to have a transmitter in both rooms. There are 27 channel options (using 3 red, yellow or green toggle switches) and we set each room to a different channel. It was great because I could carry just one receiver all over the house with me and just switch the channel back and forth to hear each room. It's a great system -- no interference between the rooms or from the neighbors, phones, etc

u cannot buy another monitor and use it they will interfere-u need to buy one that monitors 2 rooms. What I did is kept the monitor I was using because it was great and bout one that monitored 2 rooms and switched it to just monitor one room and it works that way-I bought mine at babies r us-it was a bit pricey though. I just saw one at Buy Buy Baby in Plano, there is also one on the Dallas Tollway near Galleria. It is a video monitor that you put a transmitter in each room, and they you have one receiver that you can switch back and forth. I don't know how much it costs. I just saw it at the end of an aisle with a video demonstration playing. It looked pretty cool, but I don't know how well it works.

I have 2 now and they don't interfer with each other. One is a video monitor and the other is just a sound one.

We have two monitors and they've never interfered with each other one is a Safety 1st and the newer one is the Sony. I'm not sure if it's because there are so many channel options on the Sony or not but I also highly recommend the Sony monitor, I hate the Safety 1st one and have basically since day one it always picked up interference and the neighbor's monitor but have never experienced anything like that with the Sony.

I have 2 different ones and they don't interfere. But, I know graco makes one that has 2 monitors for different rooms, and the parent device lites up different for each room. But, I have had graco monitors before....they were expensive, and didn't last for more than 2 years.
