My husband and son are going camping for some boy time, giving my daughter (age 4) and I a night alone for girl stuff. I am planning on doing a tea party for dinner, and renting girl movies. But I was just wondering what fun things do you like to do with your daughters just for fun and girl bonding?
We had lots of fun with out tea party. We watcehd Care Bar movies untill my brain turned to mush. But I got a LOT of great ideas for our next mommy daughter day! THANK ALL!
4 year old girls are priceless.
Painting toe nails, baking chocolate chip cookies, watching Disney movies, playing board games, playing dress up, playing with dolls, painting, drawing ( I go all out and get frames for our pieces of art).
Ask her what she would like to do. I love museums, amusement parks, botanical gardens, movies, etc.
Paint-Your-Own Pottery! I took my daughter for the first time at 4 and she loved it!
My daughter and I write stories, color, make jewelry, read, have girl talks, learn something new together - yes we're nerds so learning to us is fun. We also love to cook together and try new foods. Finger painting can be fun and messy especially if you end up painting one another. Crazy I know but fun.
stay at home ideas?
-Paint toe nails and finger nails..(she gets to paint yours=) )
-My 5 year old is super girly so sometiems she likes to dress up and then root through my closet and make M. dress up in fancy clothes she picks and then she cooridinates a play for us to put on. Oh and since i dont have white gloves i wear mens work gloves=)
-put on music and dance=)
-twirl contests
-you can o her hair all fancy and get glitter to put in it?

My daughter is 17. We fly out Wed for 4 nights/5 days to South Beach in Miami!!!
We did a trip about 4 yrs ago to NYC
Other things have been cooking ( we both love cooking), manis/pedis, girly tv shows and movies.
