Hi moms,
I love to cook all kinds of food from everywhere in the world , but am having a very hard time finding a grocery store that has a variety of international groceries. I am specifically looking to find a market that has groceries from all over the mediterrainian (Turkish,Greek,Hungarian, Bosnian,German, etc). Also , any suggestion for a middle eastern store are also welcome.

What can I do next?

Hi Manuela,

My boys ages 2 and 3 eat food from all over the world also. There is a market called central market in alamo heights, they have a variety of food.
Also whole foods at the Quarry Market off of Basse Road and 281 freeway. They have organic as well as a variety of international foods. Hope that helps,

Julie

I've seen an Indian marketplace/grocery store on Evers Rd. I don't know the cross-street but it's outside the Loop (410).

Hope this helps!

There is a middle eastern store on wurzbach and 10. If you are coming from 1604 it is on the right hand side one street up. I think the street is bluemell but I am not sure. It is in a shoping center next to a liquor store. There is also a gormet pantry on Wurzback a few blocks up from there on the left. You can also try central market HEB.

Hi Manuela,

I recently discovered a really good Middle Eastern grocery store- they sell Greek, Turkish, Arabic as well as Indian ingredients. The store is called Habiba International Market and located on 2250 Thousand Oaks Drive. If you turn off of 281- follow Thousand Oaks and the store is on your right in a small shopping complex right before you reach Henderson Pass. Good luck!
