Looking to Lose Some Weight

I am 22 and I weigh 220 pounds. My son is now 14months when I was pregnant I only gain about 10 to 15 pounds. After the birth I lost 15 pounds and then soon I gain alot. Now My weight has ggot out of control. So I just needed help with some diet palns that might have worked for some of woman here please help. I also Have a fatty liver.

J.! You are singing my tune! Where in West Palm are you? Maybe we could walk! I have a fatty liver as well and have done some research on it. I weighed 140 most of my 20's, have kids and just shot right up after my first. I weigh 237 right now! I am trying to go to a gym I found and trying to cut back but maybe we can support one another or even just email back and forth for support! Let me know if you are interested!

Hi J.

My name is D. i am a single mother of three & i am 26. i had a hard time with weight for a long time. 1 thing i noticed to be very helpful is never eat after 6:30pm and reduce carb intake. At one point in my life my weight was 190lbs with not eating late, little carbs intake and no exercise cause i am very lazy i weight 128 today so i wish you luck.

I have found that Weight Watchers and joining a gym worked well for me. Both allow me to get out of the house (I'm a stay at home Mom) and interact with others. Make sure that the gym you join has a daycare! I have lost all but 4 lbs of my baby weight -- I gained 35!!! Now I'm working on getting 10 more off.

J.,
I am now on the south beach diet. My DH lost more than 40lbs with it. The diet is pretty rigid, at first. I hope this advice or others you get from other mamasources moms will help you. I am a stress eater, and with a child it isn't easy epecially when you don't know why they cry and what the problem is. An advice I got from a mom one time, was to breath deeply, 20 repetitions, everytime I wanted to eat because I felt stressed out.

The same happened with me when I had my son 6 years ago. I was usually about a 10/12 and after I had him I lost a lot of weight probably the same as you and then I began to blow up out of control, I was so depressed.

I then began putting miles on my stroller, he like the outdoors and so did I. When I took him to the park instead of sitting I walked some time twice a day. I did this for about 20min. I never skipped breakfast, but I cut it to a half of a bagel and something hot. Tea w/lemon worked best for me because if drink coffee I drank it w/cream and sugar.
I drink water instead of soda or juice.
Ate a regular size lunch and a half of my dinner.
W/e was dedicated to my husband and son so it never watched so much during then.
I continue to this day doing the same thing and have been in a size 8 for the last four years maybe.

If I haven't had time to walk I cut down on my portion sizes.

If I�ve been bad and gained a few I modify it but I don't stray from this pattern.

And with God's help it works! I should add that before beginning and even during this I asked God for his guidance to help me with my motivation, my choices and my endurance.

Hi J.,

I'm 23 yr. old,do you do any type of working out (going to the gym, walking around the park w/ your son) I find doing simple things like exercing in you home first thing in the morning or late in the evening after the kids are asleep can help out a whole lot.
