Looking for Preschool in Dublin

I would like to send my 2 1/2 year old son to preschool 2 days a week. He doesn't turn 3 until Oct and misses most cut offs. He is completely potty trained and his language is advance. Does anyone have a recommendation? My other son is in preschool at Indian Run and I love it there but they don't have a program to send my younger son.

What can I do next?

Thanks everyone, I am touring a few of these suggestions and many luckily still have openings. It is so nice to have this type of recommendations for the experts!

My son and daughter both went/go to New Hope Preschool. It's in Powell right next to the zoo. They have a 2 1/2 year program that my daughter was in last year. It's only a one morning a week program though. We love it there.

Hi K. - As some of the other posters have mentioned, Dublin Community is good. My daughter just finished Little Lambs at Prince of Peace - it was wonderful - great teachers. This fall she'll be attending pre-school at one of the Dublin Elementaries in the peer program 4 days a week. So, Little Shepherds would be good for a 2 1/2 y.o. I'd also recommend Dublin Baptist's Mom's Day Out program. My daughter went there at 20 months old two days a week. They even offer three days a week. And, it goes from 9-1 - nice timeframe. Good luck!

You might try Little Shepherds Preschool at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Brand Road. They have a "Little Lambs" class either one or two days a week, and I believe the requirement is that they be 2-1/2 by September. I have my 2-year-old enrolled there for the Wednesday morning class beginning this fall. :)

I also recommend Little Shepherds Preschool. When we first moved to Dublin and were looking for a preschool for our second son, our friends recommended to try Indian Run Preschool. They did not have any openings and the director recommended me to check with Little Shepherds Preschool. They offer similar curriculum as Indian Run Preschool. You will love Miss Sue, the director and all of her staff. They are wonderful. I had my daughter graduated from Little Shepherds Preschool last year and my other daughter will be attending there when she turns preschool age.

A few places to start....Northwest Presbyterian Christian Academy ###-###-####) offers "Mom's Day out". 1 day a week from 9:30-1. My son went there and we loved it! Also, Dublin Community Preschool I think offers a preschool program for 2 1/2 year olds although I would think it is filled by now since that's not offered at most preschools. You might call and get on a waiting list though? Good luck!

We have one son at the Primrose School, and we think it is excellent. Our middle son will be 3 on Sept. 20th, but we won't be starting him at Primrose until next fall. We have been using an in-home daycare provider for our kids and have been happy with her, but we are moving our kids to Primrose the year before kindergarten so that they can meet some of the kids they'll be going to school with.

They do have part time kids at Primrose. All of their teacher, I believe, are actually teachers with degrees. They really have a good learning curriculum. They do have a website that you can visit. I'm sure you'll find it if you google Primrose School of Dublin, Ohio.

Not sure if you are interested in traveling this far, but Smokey Row is the absolute BEST in the Dublin/Powell area. It's at the corner of Summitview and Smokey Row Roads.
