My husband and I are having our 14th wedding anni. in March. We want to go to dinner. Does anyone have a nice place to eat? We have gone to Ruth Chris', The Melting Pot in King of Prussia we have also been to Cutillo's in Pottstown. Want to try a different place this year. It is really the only time we go out to eat without our children.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks to everyone who gave my ideas. We (I think ) decided to go to Seven Stars for dinner.

Creeds Seafood & Steakhouse is really good (off of 422 near KOP)...but it is pricey. Phoenixville has a lot of options too - depending on how dressed up/fancy you want to get. Osteria in Collegeville (off of Evansburg Rd) has FANTASTIC food.

Good luck...and have a fun date

If you have been to Cutillo's you are obviously close enough to Pottstown. I recommend you go to the Funky Little Kitchen. The food is fabulous, and it is a BYOB, so you don't have to pay rediculous $$ for a drink! If you are going to go on a weekend night, you must make reservations. They only have 28 seats, but that's what makes it so great. They get fresh ingredients and serve each diner well. http://www.funkylilkitchen.com/

Hello... I'm not sure where you live, but since you mentioned a place in Pottstown, there are a few good ones in Pottstown.

The Funky Lil Kitchen is aweseome, you need a reservation because its really small. Also Gracies is near Pottstown, maybe Pottstgrove. www.gracies21stcentury.com They are both really good, but expensive. Oh, also the Inn at St. Peters is another anniversary kind of place. But also very exspensive.

Have Fun!

I heard the Sullivan Steak house in KOP is nice. Also, in KOP is Maggianos(think I spelled it right) They are Italian. Bonefish is a good seafood place. My parents love it. I believe it is willow grove. Have a great time. Congrats on the 14 years. I am celebrating 15 this year.

Congrats T. on 14 years!!

I can suggest a few places beginning with the Funky Little Kitchen as a few other people recommended. A friend of my best friend also just opened a BYO in the Skippack Village area which is getting rave reviews. I have not personally been there yet but I can't wait.. the website is www.restaurantrosalie.com.

In the other direction towards Reading is the Arbor Inn, it's just off Route 562. They are a cozy, mom and pop restaurant with terrific homemade food. Brian and I were just there last week since it was highly recommended to us and now we can't say enough good things about it.

Whatever you choose I hope you have a wonderful anniversary together!

Have you ever tried the William Penn Inn located off of Rt. 202N? That is a nice place to eat especially for a special occasion like an Anniversary. If you make reservations ask to sit upstairs.

I second the Funcky Lil Kitchen in Pottstown. The food is great and the menu changes so there is something new everytime we go.
