My husband and I are having our 13th wedding anni. in March. We want to go to dinner. Does anyone have a nice place to eat? Last year we went to Ruth Chris' in King of Prussia. Want to try a different place this year. It is really the only time we go out to eat without our children.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I just wanted to let everyone know, (little late) how our dinner was. We went to teh Melting pot in King of Prussia. It was great. I have never been to a fondue place before. I am in the process of looking for a fondue set to try at home with the kids. The dessert was the best. Thanks for teh help.

My husband and I LOVE to go to Upstares at Veralli. It is in the theatre district in Philly. They have outstanding Itailian food and a wonderful view. We try and sneak out there at least once a year!

The Road House in Skippack is wonderful. We just had our Valentine's dinner there last night and it was fantastic!

T., I highly suggest Cutillo's on High St in Sanatoga. This is Brian's and my favorite romantic restaurant, we've been going for 10 years and always have a wonderful experience! As a matter of fact we even hosted our rehearsal dinner there and all of our family and friends raved about it!
The restaurant is a bit pricey but if you're looking for a romantic evening then the ambience, service and quality of food is outstanding. You should request to dine upstairs where the walls are floor to ceiling windows that overlook the tree tops.
Wherever you go, I hope you have a wonderful evening!

I would definately suggest The Melting Pot in King of Prussia. It's a wonderful fondu restaurant. It is a little pricy but great for special occassions. That's where I got engaged at. I especially like it because it forces you to take time out to spend with each other and you don't feel like they are rushing you out the door to seat the next couple. I would recommend making reservations a couple days in advance though because they do get booked pretty quickly.

I have never written anything on this website so I really don't know how it works. I am assuming you live in Pottstown area??? My husband is a chef and we are pretty discerning restaurant goers. I live in South Coventry (Pottstown). Not a lot of choices, but The St Peter's Inn and Gracie's(Pine Forge/Boyertown) are 2 good ones. It also depends on your price range. Hope that helps!

Try Maggiano's in King of Prussia. My husband does audio visual work for them at all their restaurants and loves their food and atmosphere and he is the pickiest person I know when it comes to that stuff. Try the beef medallions.

I have to agree with Seven Stars. It's the best place around. You get a ton of food and the prices are good. It's better than Ruth Chris, Sullivan's or Morton's. The cheese and crackers are to die for and they are free!!!

You want a great dinner, go there!

If I'm not too late - 7 Stars is absolutely wonderful. It's a little pricey but two can eat and tip for less than $70. The deserts are good but one will serve two. All the servings are large - if I go with a friend I bring about half of mine home for my children who are more willing to let me go without a fuss knowing that. It is historic and has wonderful ambiance. You can call ahead (it's in Springford on Rt 23) and ask for a quiet, romantic table and they will give it to you. The service is also great; and the food is absolutely delicious.

Happy anniversary and bon appetite'
