My Mom is an excellent stylist. She lives in Algonquin and has been doing hair for over 20 years.
Jennifer at Avalon Spa in Deer Park (Aveda Salon) She is awesome, I think the salon thinks she is their best stylist too because she is the only one they send to fashion shows (like she travels to London for shows and stuff) They are pricey, but she is worth it.
Probably too far for you, but Daisy at Ulta in Schaumburg did an excellent job an my hair.
