I live in Munhall and would like to find a pediatrician closer to my house. I would prefer one that has males and females as I have both boys and a girl. If you know of a great pediatrician locally, please let me know.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you to all that responded. I have decided to start seeing Dr. Bligh with Handlesman Family Practice. I have heard great things about this office and it is just down the street from my house. Can't get much more convenient then that for those emergency sick visits.

Try the Pediatric Alliance in Pleasant Hills. (they are on top of the hill by Primanti Bros.) They have many dr's that work in the office, female and male. I've seen just about all of the physicians in the office and have no complaints about any of them.
Good Luck!

Hello!
I live on Main/ Interboro Avenue and I just had a baby girl and have a teenage son. I take them to Dr. Bligh ###-###-####. He is a relatively young Doctor from Manhattan who is EXTREMELY up on recent medicine/practices, etc. He is considered a general practictioner, but handles babies, as well (plus he is expecting his first in October). I cannot say enough good things about this guy (and trust me, I am a critic!).
Case in point, the Doc just called my house this morning to see how the baby was doing. What Doc does that??!!! Tell him Sue Yniguez sent you. He sees my whole family, and is so close...right near the Cogos and Hollywood Nails.

I want to recommend my pediatrician to you because she is wonderful. I had been going to one of the only ones in my area, and was VERY DISATISFIED! I tried her and have vowed to never take my children anywhere else. She is very thorough and actually listens to everything I tell her about my kids before she starts with her opinions and she lays all the options on the table before she starts ruling things out. I must tell you though that she may not be exactly what your looking for, she is in practice by herself - so no male doctor for your son. But I have 3 boys and feel she is great with them(actually switched to her from 2 male doctors). Here is the info:

Dr. Isabel Aure
###-###-####

She is located in McKeeport on Walnut St. across from Olympia Shopping Center.

Good Luck and hope you find a doctor that makes you happy because the health and well being of your children mean the most!

I highly recommend Steel City Pediatrics. They are at the intersection of Route 51 and Stilley Road in Brentwood. They have a male and female doctor Their office is nothing fancy but I love them both and wouldn't trade them for anything.
