So ... we moved from Northern Virginia the beginning of March here to Allen and we LOVE it so far!!!! Anyway ...my son turned ONE on March 29th and he needs to have his one year well check. I have NOOOO idea who to try out ... so I would love any suggestions .... I'd really prefer one close by. We live off Bethany Drive. So, barely in McKinney or Plano would work well - perhaps something right off 75.

Wow ... THANKS so much for ALL the fabulous recommendations ... truly I appreciate it ... for this well check visit, I went with Raintree .... so hopefully, I'll love it as much as those who suggested! :-) If it doesn't work out there ... I've certainly got many other options to choose from!!!

Dr. Daniel Moulton at Presby Allen, right off of 75 and Exchange, both he and his P.A. are great ###-###-####........if you need a pediatric dentist, Dr. Lisi is fantastic, also in Allen, off of Main/McDermott ###-###-####.
I have three children 9,7 and 5 months. I use Raintree pediatrics Dr. Kim Smith and I like her a lot. I know right now she is on maternity leave but will be back soon. I have seen other Dr. in the practice and like them all too. I also live in Allen and they are very close. Right off Alma and Exchange. Their # is ###-###-#### if interested.
We use Dr. Kim Smith at Raintree Pediatrics - but have seen Dr. Cook, Amber, and Sabrina, and we love them all. The reason we chose them is because they told us from the beginning that *we* were in charge of our daughter's healthcare, and that they are there to advise us, not tell us what we have to do or criticize us for any choices that we may make. That was important to us. :)

We go to Raintree Pediatrics up by Allen Presby and love them. We've seen every one of the drs and like them all. My mom even had to take him in while we were out of town and they didn't give her any hassle at all. If you follow Watters from Bethany behind Jason's Deli/Hobby Lobby you will run into Raintree Dr and they are on Raintree.
I would highly recommend ABC pediatrics (http://www.abcpediatrics.biz/) my husband and I have really loved them. We used Dr. Burton and his office for almost a year and it was AWFUL!! Unless you have an entire day to allow for a doctors appointment I would not recommend them, they are always packed, not open on Saturdays, and they never remember who my daughter is. Dr. Dugopowski and Dr. Chen at ABC are so sweet, they know my daughter and they are quick. They are easy to get a same day appointment and they are also open on Saturday for a few hours.
They are located in McKinney on Virgina, about half a mile off of 75. I hope this helps.
DR. Moulton is in the Allen Presbyterian Hospital area, he is very soft spoken and my daughter loves the huge aquarium and rooms. She has been going to him since she was born and she is now 5.

I LOVE our pediatrician, my nurse in the hospital told me about her. Her name is Dr. Virginia Menchaca and she is with Pediatric Healthcare Assoc. in McKinney (El Dorado & Hardin.) She is fantastic, very comforting, so sweet with my daughter and takes her time you don't feel rushed! Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I hope this helps.

Raintree Pediatrics right behind Presby Allen is great. I use to live in Allen and have moved to Wylie and I still drive. My boys love Amber, the P.A. Hope this helps.
