Ok so this morning I posted a note. I am rewording it as it got pulled. No clue why it got pulled. But it did. sigh..... so here goes again. Will phrase it totally as a question.

Is there a list somewhere in the aurora / montgomery area of local crafter's who do craft shows? if not where do you find crafters? If your attempting to fill spots in a craft show which I am short of going to craft shows how do you find them? I am not in any way promoting the craft show. I am looking for crafters who do actual crafts. Not vendors as those are easy to find. I am seeking people who take everyday items and make them into something else. So if you are a crafter or someone you know is a crafter or someone you know knows a crafter.......

I hope the mamasource police find this to be a valid question sigh....... as the last question was a valid one also and I was shocked to find it yanked.

What can I do next?

Try the newspaper. Ours runs a few ads about bazaars and crafts all throughout the fall season.
Also the Parks and Rec
Retirement Homes
The town's web page
Chamber of Commerce

Antique stores, my mom does antiques in the South Suburbs and Dad is now selling his puzzles all over the place at different bazaars and shows.

Try pulling up each town's website's events calendar. It might take you awhile, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck,

I don't know if there is a list but I would go to craft shows and get business cards from the venders and tell them you are hosting an event and would like to invite them. Get email address and send out a mass email.

If they need a business license the licensing office should have a list of crafters. Contact City Hall.

I am thinking it was pulled because it was not a mom/dad, kid, marriage/family kind of question. I know by your question that you may be trying to help other moms. Have you tried your local paper, schools, bulletin boards, churches? That may be more helpful.
