Way earlier! I was having a really hard time keeping it hidden until I hit 12 weeks. Several of my co-workers had guessed by the time I announced. And wow was I glad to get into maternity pants instead of cramming myself into my biggest, loosest regular pants.

Congrats!

It was totally true for me! I was in maternity clothes much sooner and my boobs were huge within just a few weeks of being pregnant!

It's more likely that your 'snuggness' is due to the bloating that accompanies pregnancy, but our bodies do show sooner with each pregnancy because everything's all 'stretched out'.

Congrats on your pregnancy!!!

I felt that was true for me - about 4 weeks earlier. However, I also think we are more sensitive to the changes in our bodies and FEEL like we show sooner. Probably a combination of showign sooner and noticing it sooner.

Yes it is true and yes it could be. Every pregnancy is different and you tend to carry each one differently. Your 2nd (and every one after) tends to show sooner because you body had already carried a baby and "knows" what it is supposed to do and have already been stretched out.

My friend gave a great analogy of your uterus and abs being like a balloon. The first time you blow it up it's hard to do. Once it's stretched out, it's no problem the second time. I showed way early and carried her much lower the whole time. Good luck and enjoy your miracle!

It was definitely the case with me. With our first people kept asking me if I was "sure" I was pregnant because I did not "pop" until about 6 months. But, with my second, it was obvious really quickly! Congrats to you! :-)

With each pregnancy the muscles get weaker, and more used to the stretching, so they do not resist as strongly and you will show much earlier.

YES! I am 10 weeks pregnant, and I thought I was losing my mind. Within a week of me finding out I was pregnant, I couldn't fit into any of my old pants (and this was at 4 weeks!). I started wearing my maternity pants. I told my team at school I was pregnant. When I was only six weeks, two other people at work asked my friend if I was pregnant! And, another did the same at seven weeks. So, yes, you definitely show sooner with your second!

With my 2nd, I was definately showing early... with my 3rd, omg I looked 4 months pregnant @ 8 weeks... BUT I gained less weight with my second, and even LESS with my 3rd... I just LOOKED huge. You also have to remember that you are so extra gassy and bloated those first 12 weeks while your body adjusts to the hormonal changes, that your clothing will be a bit snug anyway. Embrace those maternity jeans mama, you'll be in them for a while ;) Keep up the healthy diet; I bet you'll LOOK bigger, but actually gain less weight than with your first. Congrats and best wishes!! :)

I've heard that with many women and during my second pregnancy, I kept complaining about how large I was at such an early date and only my dad knew for sure that I was having twins. Something to consider. :)

Best Friend's Guide to Preg book has a funny section about just that.
Yes, you show right away, but you will probable be the same at 3 months. Your tummy muscles were stretch out with baby #1.

I know with my SIL, we were due within weeks, her with her second, and me with my first, and she was giving me her 2nd trimester (and some even 3rd) clothes that she no longer fit in when I was barely showing, and when we arent prego, we're generally about the same size.

Well everyone is different so even though you are only 7 weeks you could be retaining lots of water and bloating to make you feel like you are showing. Have you gained any weight yet? If not then it's just bloating. I didn't show any sooner with my second but with my third i did. I was like you I think about 6 weeks and I felt like I already had a pooch but had no weight gain. Well it turned out I did pooch out kinda fast but I have stayed that way for months. I am 19 weeks now and finally starting to get a tummy but I can still wear my size 0 and 2 pants so just cause your showing a little right now doesn't mean your going to be huge! LOL I also read that even the baby is tiny right now your uterus knows what to do this time around and is already starting to grow in preparation for the baby so that could be part of it too. But Congrats to you on another sweet baby!

I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am about the same size I was with the first. I do work out every day so I am not sure if that makes a difference. I do find my clothes feeling tighter but they still fit in the morning and by the end of the day I need to unbutton my pants.

CONGRATS!!!!!!

Absolutely. With my second I was showing VERY quickly. You have to remember you're stretched out from the previous one and things are never the same after you have one baby. Also remember that you can carry each baby different. With my last I gained the least amount of weight but my tummy was HUGE and I got stretch marks on my stomach that I never got before. People told me I was going to pop "any day" 8 weeks before I was due <sigh> I was NOT early lol! Congrats :) And just enjoy.

Yes! With my second I was showing almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I am 8 weeks along with my third and I am not showing at all yet (other than my gut I havent lost from the first two, lol!!). It's really weird how every pregnancy is different. Congrats on your pregnancy!
