Ick - My Daughter's Clothes Smell like Shaving Cream!

So for one of the last days of school my daughter had shaving cream wars with her friends. Now the t-shirt, sports bra and gym shorts she was wearing smell like my husband!

I've washed the shirt a couple times but the smell is still there. Anyone have a tip on how to get rid of it?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone! I'll try the vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser tomorrow!

Baking soda or white vinegar are my go-to deodorizers.

Try line drying in the sun too.

I get to all smells with white vinegar. If just adding vinegar to the wash does not help soak the shirt in some vinegar and little bit of soap for a while-like handwashing it.

white vinegar.. We use it in our dishwasher when we wash dishes that have been used for eggs or chicken, two odors which are hard to get out. I think it will work for the clothes as well..

Soak the clothes in hot water and Oxi-Clean. Then, wash them with your regular detergent but instead of using fabric softener, use distilled white vinegar. Hope it works. It should!!
