I am a stay at home mom of two, who is interested in finding or even starting my own playgroup in the Kansas City Northland Area. I live in Platte City, and haven't found or heard of any playgroups in the immediate area. I have a four year old daughter who will be starting back to Preschool in August, and a two year old son who will still be at home with me.

I belong to a bunch of Playgroups and moms groups here in the northland. I live in Smithville. Just go to Meetup.com

I know there is a Moms Club in the northland. You might be able to go to momsclub.com and find the information, otherwise look for Kansas City parenting magazines at Children's Orchard, they might have information on playgroups in the northland, I also have a friend who is part of a playgroup, so I know they're around. There is a MOMS Club in the Northland, but the boundaries don't extend to Platte City. You could always start your own (go to www.momsclub.org to find out how). Here are some other playgroups in the Northland that I'd recommend:
