Looking for Playgroups for Me and Baby

I would also like to find a playgroup for my son, 2 yrs.

I know of several playgroups in the Northland, but none in KCK. A few websites that are great for playgroup info are: www.meetup.com, www.matchingmoms.org and www.childavenue.com. Connecting with other moms is SO important when you stay at home. I hope you find a playgroup soon!!

You sound like a lot of the moms in my MOMS Club group. I don't know if you've heard about it. There are about 25 of us that are all stay-at-homes who were going nuts without contact with other "adults" and needed a way to keep our kids occupied. We meet once a month for a large group meeting, have a couple of activity opportunities a week to choose from, have playgroups set up by age groups and a have a monthly Mom's Night Out where we get together at someone's house or go to a restaurant. Did you say your in the KCK area. Call the school district and ask for the Parents as Teachers phone number. They have playgroups all year long. I think you will like it. Johnson county also has Parents As Teachers. You can google it.

If you find one, and love, please let me know. I have a 6-week-old and a 3-year-old that would love to meet and play with more kids her own age.
