I was at Sam's Club quite a while ago (like, 2 years. lol) and they had samples of Giradelli brownies, but they had made them into cookies! They were awesome! Pretty thin, but awesome! I have made the brownies themselves plenty of times since then, but now I want to try making the cookie version. Do I have to modify the recipe at all or do I just spoon the brownie batter on the cookie sheet?d

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Lol. Internet got cut off before I had a chance to see any answers... so I just made the regular brownie mix and it worked pretty well! I did use a little too much cooking spray after my first batch stuck... but for the most part they are decent! :)

The basic answer is that you need a little less liquid and a little more flour. If you type "making cookies from brownie mix" into Google, there are hundreds of resources. If you don't want to do that, simply decrease the liquid by about 1/3, and add enough flour (several tablespoons) until the batter seems more like a cookie dough consistency and less like brownies that you pour into a pan.

I'm not sure but check to see if Giraelli has a web site with the recipe.

You might also consider making putting the batter into mini muffin pans and making them that way. Same mix different shape. You can cool and sprinkle a little powered sugar on the top to dress them up for special occasion!
