My daughter is 11 months old. I am a stay at home mom, so I spend most the time at home with my daughter. I feel she needs to interact more with kids her age or older. I dont want to put her in daycare at the moment. I usually go to the mall and let her play in the play area, but I think we need to do other things as well. I kind of want to put her in a program like gymnastics, swimming, dancing or anywhere where she can interact, have fun, and learn new things. Does anyone know of any places, activities or play groups.
We love Gymboree, my 3 year old son started going when he was 9 months old, in the walkers class,I kept him in classes until he turned 2. Now my little guy is going to start next week, he just turned 6 months. They have so much fun, the teachers are great, and you meet alot of nice moms, which mostly are SAHM's.
Little Gym is wonderful! I take my 20 month old son to a Little Gym in Royal Palm and he has been going since he was about 13 mo old and he loves it! I am a mother of a beautiful 2 year old girl and am a SAHM myself. I am not sure where you live but I take my daughter to Cats gymnastic off of Clint Moore and she loves it. Don't have the number handy but they have a mommy and me class I go to on Fridays from 10:45-11:30 you should come and try it out. You can google them and find the number easily. Hope this helps..
When my older daughter was little, I always had her in activities. Some on the places were "My Gym", "Gymboree" and "Cats Gymnastics". She loved all of them. Hope that helps.

You didn't say what area you were from but we go to Little Gym at Linton Blvd & Military Trail. They are great with the kids and have a much better teacher/child ratio than Cats.
Although I can say, Cat's birthday parties are hands down awesome!!!
