There are several I would recommend, Dr Chariker / Dr O'Daniel (in same office) or Dr Digenis. All are in Louisville. Just make sure that whomever you chose is board certified. Dr Brown who used to work at Jewish was excellent, but I don't think he practices any more. He now has his own skin care line. He did my sister's breast implants and my Mom's face lift. Good luck and just meeting them in person will tell you a lot. Make sure you go in with a list of questions!

I live in Louisville and have a friend that is a general surgeon in town that gave me some names as I am thinking of doing the opposite (My son literally sucked the life out of mine:(). I haven't yet spoken to any of them, but Juleen (sp?) Samuels came recommended not only from my doctor friend, but also a neighbor that used her for augmentation. Not sure how she handles reductions, but I've heard good things from several people about her. If you see her let me know what you think.

Hey E.,
I had a breast reduction 4 years ago, and Dr. John Derr performed my surgery. I was very happy with the results. He's professional, makes you feel VERY comfortable, takes him time making sure he knows exactly what you want, lets you see pics of previous reductions he's done... and the best thing is that he's board certified (very importanat when chosing a surgeon). Maybe just try a consultation and see how it goes? I hope this helps!

T Gerald Daniels is great...also Chariker (sp?) in the same office downtown I've heard is good. Also Dr. Samuels has a great rep and there's one more I've heard a lot about but can't think of the name.

The best thing to do is to pick two or three and go for consults...then choose the one you are most comfortable with. You will probably be told that if you want a reduction that you will need implants to make your breast look right again...because after kids, they will never be the same, no matter what they cut off. I had a lift & augmentation after my two children did extensive damage and couldn't be happier!

Try Dr. Chariker. He is located downtown on First street. I went to him recently and he is great doctor. You can tell he really cares about what you want and not just the bottom line. His staff is real nice too. He's board certified and has been in louisille forever. Here's his website and phone:

Good luck girl!
