Hello Mommies

I would like to enroll my 3yr. old daughter in an art class or ballet/tap class. I have been looking around but would of course like to find something close to home and affordable. I live in Lake In The Hills. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I take my little girl to the Rebecca McCarthy Dance school. It's on the corner of Algonquin and Square Barn. My daughter loves the class (she's in a tap/ballet combo class for little kids.) Eventually she will be in the Irish step classes they have there. Good luck!!

Check out the Centre of Elgin. They have a variety of classes. My 2-year-old son and I took Music Makers II in the fall and it was great.

Hampshire Park district has some good dance classes. My daughter took them for 2 years and loved them! There is a recital in the spring, and the costumes were inexpensive.

For dance, I recommend Ms. Brenda at the Huntley Park District. Fun and not too serious. Costumes for the recital are inexpensive too.
