Father's Day Crafts!!!

We did a framed craft. It is the child's footprints on sandy beach stationary. On top is a transparent film that has this poem: "Walk With Me, Daddy"

One of our favorite things to make are picture frames. We hit Hobby Lobby in search of paper mache frames, paint, and scrap-booking supplies. Find a recent picture of Dad with the kids or Dad with each child. One year, my daughter made a Hawaiian themed picture frame with a picture of her and her Dad at a Father-Daughter dance, which was a Hawaiian luau theme. My son also made a frame that was beach themed and put a picture of him and his Dad at the beach. They were just beautiful and took maybe 15 minutes to make. We spent more time at Hobby Lobby looking for the perfect stickers for the frame than we did on the project itself. We recently moved here from Indiana, so my daughter made a frame for her best friend, with a BFF theme and also made one for our little neighbor-girl with a Tinkerbell theme, because she loves Tink. We always get the 3-D stickers to give it dimension and they always turn out so nice. Now, your kids may be a little young to handle the paint. You'll want to be careful not to get the paint too heavy around the inside of the frame (where the pic will be) because when the paint dries, it will stick and it isn't always easy to separate without it tearing a little. Hi E. try familyfun.com they always have fun and neat things to do. You could also do like a portrait collage(one of each child separate or of them together), and have them paint or color on the paper and let them glue the pics on. You could put their hand and foot prints on there. This is what I did and my son loved it. It was a lot of fun doing this together. Hope this helped.

We bought these mugs at Michael's for my dad. They come 2 to a box and they come with 6 markers. You decorate them and they become permanent within 10 minutes - you don't have to bake them or anything. I'm not sure if Brandon (or your dad) drinks coffee but they were $9.99 and 25% off this week and prob. next for Father's Day. They also had stepping stones which we did for my Papaw and for my mother in law recently. Ryan loves to do those. We haven't done this but they also had plates you could do something like the mugs. These aren't completely homemade but the kids still make them and they are something I think will last a good while! Hope this helps!
