My husband got a beautiful white dress last spring for $10 at the flea market. I was too big for my daughter at the time but I think, actually hope, it fits her now. I would love to have her wear it for the holidays. It is a pretty white dress. The top layer of material is like a chiffon I guess and the top is plain. The bottom has flower embridery in white and matching edging. In the middle of the flowers is a rhinestone/diamond like bead stiched. This dress would have cost $80 easy. But it has no sleeves and it is winter. I has a matching sheer cape but it is cold. I thought I would buy a shrug for her to wear with it. So, what do you think? What color and what material? I found a fluffy type that is kind of furry but not fur, a plain black knit with shiny threads through it, a satiny red, a satiny silver, and white ones but I think white could drown her out since she is light/medium skin tone.
Thinking now, if I could find a rich brown one it might look great. She does look good in the right shade of brown. She is 2 1/2, wearing a 3 or 4 depending on the clothes.

What can I do next?

I think the satiny red one would look good. Since she will be wearing it for the holiday.

Sounds like a nice deep cranberry red or forest green would look beautiful with her skin tone.

A lovely, chocolatey brown would be pretty... or the red for Christmas.

For the holidays, I would go red or black. If you go black also do black shoes and maybe a black headband or bow and black purse. Same thing with red except if you can't find red shoes, you could do white.

If you go red then you can get those sparkley red shoes at Target.
Black would be very pretty with some Mary Janes
