My daughter is requesting an 'Everything Pink' 9th birthday party this year. When we first talking about it I had so many great ideas of what we could do and now that it'll be here in two months I'm at a loss.

Ideas please! Food? Games?

What can I do next?

Along with the pink food, drink and decorations you could feature music by Pink and have a dance party.

Do you have a pinterest account? I'm sure you can find lots of ideas there. For pink food, you can do jelly beans, starburst, sour candy, etc. A lot of candies come in all pinks and reds for Valentine's Day, so go shop now and see what you can find. Keep the candy sealed and it will be fine in two months.

Any party store or birthdayexpress.com will have plenty of pink decorations. You can bake a strawberry cake with pink frosting, or get one from the market or bakery.

1. I agree with pinterest and google
2. Ask you 9 year old, because her ideas could help with getting her dream pink theme (with in reason and budget of course).
3. Micheal's crafts is a good plea to look after Valentine's Day when the pink hearts are on sale. Party city is a bit more expensive, but going in there to get ideas is helpful.

Hobby Lobby!

If it's pink, it's a go.

Buy red food dye and go nuts on regular foods. A few drops in the cookie dough or cake batter.

Is this a mixed gender party or just girls? Nail polish, bright pink blush on the cheeks, cheap tutus and wands? If it's a mix you may want to implore some of the dad's participate. Face paint and pink foam swords for the boys?

For drinks- put a little fluff of pink cotton candy in a clear plastic/glass cup. As you serve them, pour Sprite, gingerale, seltzer, or pink lemonade over the cotton candy, it will melt instantly and tint the drink pink.
