I was thinking about getting a Dyson Vacuum. And before i make the purchase i was wanting to see how other moms, who have it, think about it.

What can I do next?

I love mine. It really sucks! The only problem is that my husband and I both have long hair and three cats. The hair all over the house gets caught in the rotating brush. It needs to be removed very frequently with scissors. This would probably happen with any vacuum though. I like how easy and clean it is to empty the container and put everything back together. I definitely recommend it.

If you can afford to get look at a Dyson I would suggest taking it one step further and looking at a Rainbow. It uses the concept of water for the filter and picks up all dirt and other items (especially hair) very well. Sometimes a little tiring to empty after use but always worth the great results. You can pick up a used or new one from your Rainbow dealer. Oh also great w/ allergies!

I have a Dyson and I absolutely love it!!! It's easy to use and the suction is great! I highly recommend purchasing one. Shop around for the best deal though... they aren't cheap. Just know that you will probably never have to buy another vacuum again. :+)

K.,
I have had the Dyson animal vac for almost 4 years and L. it! The extension hose is a little difficult but the suction makes up for it. I think the cleaning power is as good as a Kirby but is much less expensive and a lot lighter. Mine came with a lot of attachments including a carpet cleaner I have yet to use. We had new carpet installed in our newly remodelled house and the Dyson has kept the carpet dirt free during the rest of the remodel. I highly recommend it. We purchased ours online, but I know Target carries them for a slightly higher price. I grew up with a Kirby and a Rainbow and still would recommend the Dyson first. The Rainbow is great but it is a canister vac Iand I always hated having to empty the gross water afterwards. My mom still uses her Rainbow but loves my Dyson more. Hope this helps.
