I am looking for a good durable lightweight double stroller. I have the Graco double stroller that was handed down to me. It is just too heavy and bulky. Please let me know if there are any good ones out there.

Baby Trend Sit and Stand. I have had it for 2 years, and I cannot tell you how many people have stopped me to aks me about it, or take it for a push! Hope you find the right stroller!

I love my maclaren - Little expensive but worth every penny. You can find used ones on craigs list.

my kids are 17 months apart and I love my Peg Perego Aria. I am really pleased with it.

I have the Peg Perego Aria Twin side by side double stroller and LOVE IT! It is lighter weight than any single stroller I own and fits through doorways. In fact, it is narrower than my father's wheelchair by an inch. It doesn't accommodate an infant seat, but I see your son is 7 months, so he would fit in it fine. There are two separate canopies and one large basket underneath. There is also a separate tray and drink cup holder for each seat. Very easy to maneuver as well.

I have the Combi Ex Savy (I think that is the name) it is the side by side one and I loved it. My boys are now too old for it, and I am interested in getting rid of it. You can check it out online at toysrus.com. It is not any wider than a wheelchair would be. My boys are two years apart and it was great. I have family in Illinois so getting it to you would not be a huge issue.

I have the Jeep Brand double umbrella stroller. I love it. I do have problems getting through door ways because it is just narrow enough, but other than that. I pushes nice and is light weight and easy to open and close. I have a 1 and 2 year old and they seem to like it. The 2 year old especially loves to ride in it.

I know everyone loves the maclaren and I really like it as well. One day when I was at Babies r us, I saw the chicco trevi twin and it really feels much like the maclaren but is 1/2 the price.

The only complaint is the size of the canopy but for $20 I got a large one for sunny days that goes over.

Maclaren makes an AWESOME double stroller! They collapse pretty well too, and can even make it through doorways (my double could not!).
We had a Combi, but it was flimsy and eventually broke.
Also, the handles are higher on the Maclaren, so you don't have to bend over to push :D
Good luck!

The Baby Trend Sit and Stand is wonderful- especially for the ages of your children. The front comes with a bar for the infant carrier and then when your son gets older, you can just leave it as a regular seat. The back allows your daughter to sit or stand. There is a seatbelt on the back too- if you want to strap her in. I love this stroller! There are 3 years between my daughters and it has worked great!

I love my side by side combi. It handles very well. It is so light, which is important for me because I have a sensitive back. It fold very compact. And the graco bucket seat fits in it, if you face it forward. (It does not snap in, as it isn't claimed to fit. But I have used it for a long time with no trouble.) I think I got mine new on ebay for around $150.

I love our Maclaren and was advised against the Combi. I was told that it will not hold up as well, is not made as well and will not push 2 as well. Glad we chose the Maclaren!
