Double Jogging Stroller - Sudbury,MA

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, reasonably priced (?) double jogging stroller? I will only be using it for running, mostly on paved paths but possibly on fireroads/dirt roads, with a 1.5 yo and a 2.5 yo. I know the BOB Duallies are highly rated, but also highly expensive. Any other comparable recommendations?
Thank you,
Kim

BOBs are amazing and worth the money, but they are more affordable if you look on craigslist. I saved up to get mine and have never regretted it. In fact, sometimes when I'm running I remember what my other jogger was like and I still love my BOB as much as the day I got it. Another consideration is that they retain a lot of their value, so you can sell it when you're done with it for a good price.

Good luck and happy trails :)

We have an inStep jogging stroller. We've had it for EVER, and have taken it to Disney, Sesame Place, and just recently took it with us to San Diego and all the parks there. It collapses, and you take the wheels off, pop it in a stroller bag, and off it goes on the luggage belt. It has plenty of storage underneath, and a little thing on the handle for a drink and your phone/camera/etc.

Make sure you get the model with a swivel front wheel, tho. Ours doesn't have that, and it's kind of a pain.

You can see single and doubles here: http://www.instep.net/Product/Swivel_Wheel_Joggers/

I am selling my double jogger. It is the Schwinn Double Jogger, swivel front wheel, lightweight aluminum frame, 5 point harness, large canopy. I loved it but my oldest is now 5 and just not into the stroller-thing. It is like new. Check it out on Craig's list or you can email me at ____@____.com. I am asking $200 but will take best offer. Good luck!

Having seen lots of double joggers put to the test in a stroller fitness class, I can vouch for the fact that the BOB dualies are worth every penny. They can take on anything, given an effortless ride, are sturdy, collapse well, and don't balk at whatever surfaces (Roots through pavement, wood chips, uneven grass, you name it) one throws at it. They also fit through dept store doors no problem (Unlike many competitors), have generous individual canopies (Great when a toddlers doesn't want shade the infant needs) etc etc

BTW, I don't work for BOB - really!!! Just sharing my observations. Some websites (REI, JoggerMom??, etc) seem to hold periodic 20+% off sales with free shipping....

Check out Craigs List. I bought a used Baby Jogger double stroller a couple years ago and love it! If you are going to use it for jogging then the light weight frames are a must. I still use it with my 4-1/2 yr. old and 2-1/2 yr. old or I'd sell it to you. But definitely check out Craigs List, you can usually find a good deal there.

Hi Kim,
I have the BOB SUV - this is the large fixed wheel option (and several hundred dollars less than the one with the swivel wheel option). I run 3-4 days a week with kids weight at about 60lbs and just love it! Got it from REI with 20% coupom - call and ask when they are having next sale and or coupon available - just by signing up online I think you get a 15% off coupon (can make a big difference).
And FYI - have used the Chariot (as a single) and Instep - no comparison for me.
Good luck!
