I am looking for something to display products at craft shows. I was looking at wire displays online and they are so expensive. Is there a place locally that sells displays at a reasonable price? I am selling hair bows, hats, tutus and a few other things. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I just don't want to break the bank. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

This is what I use to organize my business stuff at home and they are easily compacted, taken down and put up. I couldnt find the correct link, but I saw a set like this for only $15 at Target today.

We sold all of our old fixture to a fixture dealer. There are a ton of them in Dallas. Also the World Trade Mart may know of some vendors trying to get rid of some. fixtures.

. If you are crafty, you could find or purchase some screen doors and hinge them together like a screen. Take out the mesh and replace it with chicken wire.. It will be collapsible and you can use hooks to hang your merchandise.. Paint the doors to match your merchandise, you can also spray paint the chicken wire with Rustolium metallic of your choice.

I forgot to mention to screw in a board along the bottom and top to make this sturdy.

JM,
Target sells rubber covered wire grid systems that can be made into cubes about 12" x 12" so you can do 3 cubes x 3 cubes and would have cubbies all that would fit on a table top. They're cheap too!

What about two or three of those "sandwich signs" things you see in cartoons, upside down V-shaped, only using pegboard, hinged at the top, joined and stabilized by straps of leather at the "waist" level, with the metal pegs people use in their garage organization systems, and hang your jewelry and crafts onto those in various arrangements? Pegboard is cheap, and easily sawed with a skill saw. Could spray paint them in attractive colors. And hinges aren't too much. Might even find some in somebody's garage sale, or take some off of an old gate or something disassembled.

Check out the group H_E_BrEcycle on Yahoo groups - they give away stuff and you can post a request for things, too. Everything's free, and it's worth a try.

I am at craft/ vendor fairs all the time because I sell children's books. I've seen others hang their tutus from a garment rack (rather inexpensive to get at Target or Wal-Mart), and I've seen them cover a big piece of wood or cardboard with fabric, then have ribbons running down vertically, which they used to attach the ribbons to. I hope that is helpful. It shouldn't cost you too much.

Good luck!

Ebay has fairly inexpensive displays. Also, check out www.storesupply.com
I hope this helps. If you know of any craft fairs please forward the info. I am a Scentsy consultant and I am having a super hard time finding places to display my product. Most of the shows that I find already have a Scentsy consutltant registered. If you are interested in some shows to display your merchandise I would be more than willing to share if I find any:)
Thank you,
A. Briner
