I'm trying to switch my baby over from brestfeeding to bottle feeding because i'm going back to work soon and he won't take to the bottle. now i remember a while back, i believe it was Playtex that has these bottles where the nipples are made exactly like the mothers breast and nipple and it came with disposable bags. it's wide and the tip is wide and round amd shaped just like the nipple. I know this will work work because it worked with the other children but i can't seem to find them in the stores anymore. i know they haven't discontinued them, because someone told me they saw them in a baby magizine. do you know of a store or website where i can find them?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

hi ladies, thanks for your input and suggestions. this is what i was able to find. NATURAL ACTION FOR OLDER BABIES (3MON)by playtex it's close. i will contact playtex in the morning and when i find out if it has been discontinued or not or where can i get them ,i will inform you guys.
I do plan to send my milk with the sitter, the problem is he won't take it from a bottle. now this NIPPLE i'm asking about was in exsistence 13 years ago and it was latex with a wide rim and a short stubby round tip (nipple)exactly like a breast. Now because that was 13 years ago and nipples have changed since then, I can't help but to believe that they do still make them their just not as readly available. and it was by playtex with the disposable bags. i did check the website (playtex) and was able to find the one for three month old NATURAL ACTION. I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED.

They are Playtex disposables. My daughter prefers them and so do I. Though we don;'t care too much for the silicone (clear) nipples. Toys R Us does carry them. Target can be difficult. The one by me only carries a few and they are usually out of the latex nipples. Walmart is a search because they don't carry many at all. You may want to try online and see if you can get a better deal on a set of them.

I think all that is a scam. Ways to sell you more expensive stuff.

You know you don't have to stop breastfeeding just because you're going back to work.

I was able to pump and provide enough mama milk for my girls when I went back to work.

The book "Nursing mother, Working Mother" by Gayle Pryor really helped me put together a plan of how to do this.

Many babies will resist taking a bottle from mama because they are way too smart and know that breast is much more fun and tastes better.

You can try pumping a little and leavining it for someone else to try feeding him while you leave the house...

I found the Platex Drop-Ins at Babies R Us. Unfortunately, my son did not take to them. We had a lot of difficulty transitioning from breast to bottle. I wish I would have known about this particular bottle that I found at Kustum Kribs in Park Ridge. They claim it is the closest thing to the breast and when I took a look at it, their claims seem to be true. I cannot remember the name of it though.
