My son is 13 months. His diaper leaks almost every night. He wakes up in the morning and his pajamas are soaked. I have tried Pampers and Huggies and they both leak. Sometimes it causes him to wake up early or in the middle of the night. Any suggestions???

What can I do next?

Hi L.,
My daughter had the same problem until I went up a size in diapers at night and started using diaper doublers from Baby-R-Us. They are like a maxi pad without the plastic. I actually used two at a time. I also made sure she was warm enough at night with blanket sleepers, socks underneath and made sure her room was warm enough. Just make sure you cover his bottom with a good diaper cream to discourage diaper rash.
Sincerely,
L.

L.,

Try Luvs. They are great diapers with excellent leak protection.

I triple the diaper doubles! They work great! If you can't find them and can't wait for them to come from the Internet you can always use Kotex, although they have the plastic coating on the back which may cause some problems.

Hi there,
Diaper doublers as someone else said. If you can't find them at Babies r. us you can do a google search and order them on line. (safeway discontinued them - argh!) The other thing that really worked for us was to put a pull up on over the diaper. Just go a size larger. As mentioned use a LOT more diaper cream. Good luck!
