My sister is one and the problem she had was that it took a long time for her to conceive, but eventually was able to. She also was a high risk because her uterus is an odd shape due to this drug so basically she had to be "sewn" so that she would not miscarry. Both babies came out fine and are in their teens. I will check with her to see if she has any info for me to pass along to you -

I'm a DES daughter and I did have a lot of difficulties in my 20s with fertility issues. I had the classic T-shaped uterus, 2 ectopic pregnancies, and a miscarriage. We were blessed with 2 beautiful children (through adoption) and I never gave the DES another thought until I hit my 40s. I was having difficulties with painful periods and "old" scar tissue. I elected to have a complete hysterectomy about 3 years ago and couldn't be happier!! No more worries!! I do have mild hot flashes that can be irritating, but manageable.
I haven't had any problems pertaining to my breasts. I never even thought about the DES being the problem there.
Please let me know if you find out that the DES is the reason for your lump.

I am not familiar with DES, however, I know our body can heal a lot of deases given the right balanced nutrition. I wanted to share about a product that has helped women with breast cancer and other issues by flooding their body with thses nutrients.

My mother took DES when she was having me too. She suffered a late term miscarriage 2 years before she had me, so her doctor prescribed the drug to her. There aren't very many DES daughters left out there, since the drug was banned in the early 70s. I had a hard time conceiving, but finally had a healthy son in Dec 2005. It's sad that he will very most likely be the only child I have, considering the long wait (10 years) but I treasure him every single day.

Unfortunately, I haven't really found a good doctor to deal with my condition. Even my OB nearly overlooked a life threatening situation when I delivered my son, and it took me a long time to heal from it. So far I haven't had any other complications, other than a thyroid I have trouble controlling (which I don't think is related to DES). Good luck in your search, and I'll keep you in mind in case I hear of anything.

I don't know anything about DES. I just wanted to tell you that I said a prayer for you this morning. God has a plan as you know and I will keep praying.

I went through a period about seven years ago that left me having 9 lumpectomies in a two year period. One day I prayed to GOD and said no more surgeries and have not had any surgeries in 8 years. Might I suggest Dr. Chandra Brown in Plano. She is accurate. ###-###-####. I wish that I knew her back when I was going through. She is also a Christian.

I, too, am a DES daughter. My OB at the time my daughter was born chose to ignore the dangers, and as a result, I suffered near-fatal complications during and after delivery. After that experience and years of abnormally heavy and painful periods, endometrisis and fibroids, I found DES Action. Their website, desaction.org, was - and is - very helpful to me. They offer a physician referral list, which is how I found the wonderful doctor who performed a complete hysterectomy 10 years ago, and gave me a new lease on life. (Unfortunately, he recently retired, and I don't know yet if I can recommend the doctor who has taken over his practice.) DES Action also offers a membership that provides additional information and allows you to join a support group. I recommend you check it out.
