I moved to Oak Park about 10 months ago. I have a pediatrician for my little one, but he is in Lincoln Park and that is not very convenient and my nanny doesn't really like to drive across town. I also need to find a dentist for myself and a primary care doc locally.
so do you know of a good:
1: pediatrician
2: family/primary care doc
3: dentist (don't want one that lectures on flossing)

I just changed pediatricans to Pedio's Ltd on Chicago Ave (and the corner of Harvey). I first saw Dr. Klaus and he is excellent and have been back and seen all the doctors and they are all wonderful.
Have not found a good primary care doctor yet (I am also newer to Oak Park) and a friend is going to recommend a dentist to me so if I get that I will send.

I love, love, love my family practice doc--Robin Uchitelle--who I started out using for my kids and now the whole family goes. I have discovered over the years that many people I know and respect go to her or her office partner Susan Locke. They are just over the border of River Forest on Lake Street. ###-###-####
I am also thrilled with our dentist, similar situation, started with my kids, now the whole family goes, I keep running into people I know in his waiting room. He does not push flossing at all, quite the contrary, he doesn't believe that it is reasonable to expect it. His name is Marcel Krawczyk ###-###-#### (Oral Health Care) on Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park. He is AMAZING with kids.
Hi A., We all (my husband, daughter age 3, and I) see the family practice doctors at the Elmhurst Clinic's Oak Park office. We absolutely love Dr. Mary Hutton, a mom herself. I have a family practitioner in River Forest, Drs. Locke and Uchitelle. THey are great with my daughter and I see them on occasion. They are on Lake between Panera and Jewel. They are affiliated with West Suburban.
For an OP dentist, my kids like Dr. Jerry Udelson. I don't know about the flossing lecture, but I haven't heard the kids complain that they get lectured.
