Hi moms,
My daughter will be having her 3rd birthday party (which is a princess theme) in a week and a half and I am looking for creative ideas to give the children for party favors. I really don't want to end up giving them little cheap stuff that they end up throwing out. I would rather give them one thing that may cost a bit more and is useful or fun, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

What can I do next?

Hmmm... what about a tiara or some other "dress up" object? Stickers? Puzzles. Books - maybe a book of fairy tales? What about a dvd about princesses? Another idea - and I'm not sure what you'd do with it, is the idea of the frog prince. Is there a cute frog toy that wouldn't be just ANOTHER toy? My son has a frog that ribbits that can go in the bath/pool. Good luck!

Hi E.,
My name is T. and I own my own business Temporary Heaven/Gift baskets & more. And we make favors for any occasion, and I saw your story and wanted to help.
I was thinking maybe little wooden jewlery boxes w/ a few things inside like, cute bracelets and princess stickers, etc.. and paint the jewlery boxes.
Michael's Arts and Craft stores have wooden jewlery boxes and they have a variety of sizes and Christmas tree shops have the bracelets and Michaels's also has the princess stickers. Hope I everything works out for you!

Is there a theme? I have made chocolate pops that have been a huge hit.I usually just do a pinata and bags and that is their favor.

I made doll shaped sugar cookies and decorated each one and put the child's name on the skirts put it in a clear bag w/twist tie. Coloring books are always good, princess ones should be easy to find. If not, google coloring pages on the internet and make your own, take it to staples for multiple copies if your printer is like mine!:) Have fun!
