Hi Mama's!!
I'm looking for a new general practitioner in the Gilbert area and have found a few names that work for both my husband's insurance and my own. If anyone knows anything about the following three Dr.'s, could you let me know? I appreciate any info on them. Here are their names: Dr. Allison k. Kaplan, Dr. Ann Marie Padilla and Dr. Karen Bader. Thanks in advance for your help.

What can I do next?

Hi A.
I've been seeing Karen Bader and love the office. She came highly recommended by a Doctor friend of mine. Hope this helps.

I rarely respond to these posts, but I have to recommend that you NOT see Ann Marie Padilla. I saw her for seven years. In those seven years, I never had a problem until I got Toxic Shock (the kind warned about in tampon pamphlets. I was VERY sick, but in her opinion not sick enough to have toxic shock (despite the fact that I couln't walk, hold my head up, concentrate, or speak clearly, and the skin on my hands, feet, and head came off in large THICK and painful sheets, etc). I only had these symptoms durning my period. Doing my own research with my mom's help, we were certain that I had toxic shock (I had 11 of the 12 symptoms AT THE SAME TIME). This syndrome gets worse with time and usually kills you (in the first month). We KNOW that it was by God's grace that I survived three. After THREE MONTHS of her downplaying and basically ignoring my suggestion and treating me for a "mystery virus", dandruff, and sry skin, as well as testimg me for all kinds of rediculous diseases, I demanded that I be tested for the staph infection that causes Toxic Shock (a simple vaginal swab). I was right! She never appologized, just mentioned that my mom did good research. I was so dissapopinted that after all of these years she couldn't extend this simple courtesy. Needless to say, I have not returned to her for care.

I had Karen Bader as a doctor for a while. She was nice and I can't recall a bad thing about her. I only switched to a new doctor because we moved.

Ann Marie Padilla is great. She's been my doctor for years but is now not on my new insurance so I'm sad that I have to find someone else.

Hi A.!

I see Dr. Ann Marie Padilla and I am very happy with her. This office is very organized. It is very easy to get a same day appointment, (not always with the doctor). Hope this helps!

Dr. Padilla has been my sister's GP for many years, and she adores her.
