My daughter has a play and as part of her costume she wants to paint her hair blue or red, I have seen the sprays of color that you can wash off, I wonder if any of you use this temporal hair color sprays and if they really wash off easy, she was medium-dark brown hair.

What can I do next?

They do. Your tub may change colors for a bit. but they come out of hair and out of bath tubs. My kiddos love having rockin out hair as my milk shake in the middle calls it. I have had to come up with other ways to color their hair because the spray and gels that come premade are a bit expensive for my liking...I take food coloring and hair gel, mix them together and voala... instant hair dye. my boys are blondies, and it comes out in one washing..The first time i did it i was afraid they would be green on the scalp forever... i was so surprised it came out soooo easy.

If your lil one has long hair thought the spray or gel may be her best bet for one time color.

What play is she doing?

oh that is going to be sooo much fun!!! How cool is that!!! Enjoy it...let us know how it goes please!!

Ohhh Seussical the Musical!!!! Many fun memories with that show! I hope she has just as many as I have had!
There are ton's of temporary color to try. I would highly suggest taking her to a Sally's Beauty Supply or other like stores. Talk to them which would be best for your situation/her hair type. Some dye's don't take to dark hair at all. (me not knowing what color her hair is, so I'm assuming it's dark, like mine) The hairspray type works best for a very saturated color/dark hair. But they are a PAIN IN THE BUTT! After a few hours they get very flaky and you'll have red specks everywhere. Those you can also get at a theatre supply store. They also will have lots of knowledge of their products and different hair types. Especially if you go to a professional theatre supply store. They often employ make up and hair artists who are in between work. Hope this helps!!! Take tons of pictures and love the drama!
