Cold Pizza for Breakfast?

Mamas & Papas-

Anyone else a fan? How about another of my personal favorites, left over ice cream cake. This is a long standing tradition in my family and the birthday kid always gets a slice set aside so that they can have one on the night of the party and one the morning after. Any special/ oddball food traditions in your family?

Thanks for sharing.

I love cold pizza! The tradition we have for birthdays is the birthday kid always gets woke up early with a cupcake and singing! Three of my kiddos have birthdays within days of each other so we always have a big celebration. So this "individualizes" it just for them!

I LOVE cold pizza for breakfast but I could NEVER eat cake or anything else sweet that early in the day.

Well, just goes to show how tastes differ... I would have picked the ice cream cake for breakfast, but the thought of cold pizza at 7 am is totally unappealing. I guess between Christy Lee and me, you get two thumbs up!

I've started a tradition of roasting sweet potatoes (whole, in their skins) for breakfast when we have then in the house from the CSA box. We eat them plain or with a little butter spread on them or on the skin. That's probably a weird one to folks, however my family loves them.

I'm not a huge fan anymore, but I totally grew up on cold pizza for breakfast. Got me through those freezing mile-long walks to school!

I had hot pizza for breakfast today! We used to send the sks out to catch the bus with a Stouffer's Mac and Cheese in hand - something they could eat at the bus stop, that was hot on cold days.

I also would pick the ice cream cake. Cold pizza...maybe if it was cheese only. My kids however will chow down on it. If it is in the fridge--and I have not warned them off touching it--it is fair game regardless of the mealtime.

Of course, any left over cake is gone first.

Cold pizza, cold fried chicken, and cold fried fish/seafood make great breakfasts.

I also like cold mac and cheese for breakfast.

I love Cold Pizza. Any time of day. I also love leftover spaghetti. So much better the next day. Cold OR reheated.

I like leftover pizza heated in the microwave any time. I also love roasted or steamed sweet potatoes any time. Adding seltzer water to bottled smoothies is my new go to for anytime. Just had one for lunch.

Yep, love cold pizza they next day.
I also frequently heat up leftover dinner for breakfast, though I don't technically eat "breakfast" until after I've woken up, had my coffee and moved around a bit.

Yum & Yes to doing both those, well b-day kid gets cake for breakfast the day after.

I also make spaghetti but then eat it the next day after it's been in the fridge b/c IMO, reheated speghetti is SO much better! Ha.

I love cold pizza for breakfast. Another favorite is leftover burrito's, not too warmed up.

Basically dinner for breakfast is good!

When my husband takes the kids to a movie, he will often bring back popcorn for me. I like to eat it the next morning when it has gone a little bit soft but is not yet stale.
