Clothes for Mom

Kind of an odd question, but what store would you recommend for clothes for my mom? She's about 50, and about a size 10-12. The places I shop are too young for her, but most of the clothes at Dillards or Macy's seem too old. She needs some everyday shirts to wear with jeans and nicer blouses to wear with black pants. Any suggestions?

Try Kohls or JC Penny. My mother in law is in her 50's and that is where she shops the most. Good luck!

My mom gets most of her clothes at Chico's. She also likes Christopher and Banks in Valley View.

I agree that Chico's is great. Stylish. Lane Bryant too.
Tootsies is AWESOME for ladies over 45 and not old looking at all-expensive though, like Neiman's. But you can't go wrong with Chico's or Ann Taylor. :)

Kohls?? Ross and Marshalls have a great selection and you can get more bang for your buck there. Mom mom loves the Alfred Dunner collection at JC Penney.

Hope this helps!

Coldwater Creek has beautiful, stylish clothes. Not "matronly" at all. Many locations in the metroplex, and online.

Lane Bryant starts at a size 14; so, from your description that won't work for your mom. Your mom is just a little bit older than I am and I just love Tootsie's, Coldwater Creek, & Chico's. You can always find great basics at Steinmart, as well. The Jones New York collection at Dillard's is good, too.

Hi T.,

Sounds like you have the same kind of mom I do. She just went to Coldwater Creek and had so many clothes to choose from. Check out their website and see what you think www.coldwatercreek.com. They have a store in Firewheel Town Center.

Good Luck!
J.
