Just wondering if any of you had a son circumcised with the Plastibell and if so were there any complications and/or was the healing and scar decent looking? Not sure what is the normal look for day 3.

What can I do next?

All 3 of my boys had plastibell. I did absolutely nothing to it, and everything turned out perfectly. The only thing that can be a little distressing, is that it may dangle right before it falls off. Two of my boys had little pieces of skin that held on, but I was just patient, and it finally dropped off on its own.

My son had plastibell and I had nothing to compare it to, but he's got a handsome little "peeper" now, if I might say so myself! LOL Even my pediatriacian was impressed at him own work! LOL
The first week to 10 days I was a bit distressed at seeing it, especially when it got close to falling off, but my son didn't seem to mind it a bit.

My sis has 4 boys and they all had a different method. She said the one with the plastibell was the best of all of them. That's all I know!

My first two sons we didn't do the plastibell. My third did... I hated it. It seemed more painful and it was in the way. Then when it fell off, it got hung up on a single part that I had to take off. I didn't like it but the doctor seemed to think it was better. It took a week for it to fall off. It also took a month for the swelling to go down at the tip. Good luck!

My first son had a plastibell while with my second son we had to make little gauze-antibiotic ointment bandages (what a pain!). There is no difference in the end result for either of them. The plastibell was just sooooo much easier and just fell off when it was done.
