Can Ya'll Tell Me What Toy My Daughter Is Talking About?

WEBKINZ. You can get them almost anywhere now...Hallmark stores, Learning Express, Justice, Libby Lu, and I believe Target has even started carrying them. They are around 15.00 each. The tag has a code on it that they use to log in and create a house for their ONLINE WEBKIN.

It is a WebKid. You can look at them at www.webkid.com.
I bought some for my Grandkids. I found them at a Shop in Mesquite, Texas or some of the Hallmarks carry them. Not too expensive.

It could most likely be a Webkin. My 2 nieces (5 & 7) are obsessed with them. It's the latest "in" toy. You can find them at Gold Crown Hallmarks. There's one on McDermott & 75.

She is talking about Webkinz. They are great, my daughter has quite a few of them. You register the pet online with Webkinz and you can play games with other kids who are registered but can't have any communication with them for security and safety reasons which I find comforting. You have to take care of your pet by buying things with the "cash" you win from playing games. You can buy the pet food, clothes, items for the pets room and also take it to the vet. They are available at Hallmark stores and flower shops.

Webkinz...you can find them at hallmark...they have the regular size and then littlekinz (sp?) my daughter and her friends have them and they love them! Just make sure she doesn't give out her password to anyone - they can go in under her account and take everything away. Also, once you buy them, you can't return them, so make sure it's the one(s) she wants!

Yes, she means Webkinz! We love them! You can get them at Hallmark, Justice Girls, Limited Too, and other random stores!

There are several different types of these "virtual" pets. One specific brand that I know of is Littlest Pet Shop Virtual Interactive Pets. They have a code on the back of their I.D. tag on the collar, you can go to their website.. put in your code.. and create a virtual pet and play with it on-line. Hope this helps. P.S. Check Wal-Mart

She is talking about a Webkins. I have found them at Girlfriends on 80. They also have some at Cracker Barrel on ____@____.com have several different ones from a puppy, kitty, pony etc.

There are several things that she could be talking about. Webkinz is by Ganz and you can find it at Hallmark stores and Libby Lu's. They have a code that you use to sign up online. The kids play games to earn Kinzcash to purchase all kinds of things for their pets such as food, water, decorating rooms, toys, clothes, etc... They must feed their pet nutricious food and make sure that it gets enough sleep so that it will stay healthy. If it gets ill, the pet is taken to the doctor. Kids can play with other kids by visiting rooms with themes, but they are limited about what they can speak to each other about, which is what parents like. WebKinz discontinues some of its stuffed animals so you may not be able to get one that someone else has. WebKinz became popular so quickly that it was hard to get them. I recently saw a sign at Walgreens advertising them, so Walgreens must be carrying them.
Hallmark also carries animals called Shining Star that allow you to name a star. After you name a star, you can make a person and play online. The named star is filed with the International Star Registry. This is also fun for kids.
There are many others that include dolls, but these are the ones that I know about. Disney also has Toon Town. Kids make and name a toon online and they can play with other "Toons." The goal is to defeat cogs. Toon Town is very popular. You can play for free, but you must pay to get to get into it further. You pay for a subscription rather than buying a product.

BTW, I agree with another mom's comments to make sure your child understands to keep her passwork secret. My kid gave out hers to someone and was upset that things had changed with her Webkinz pets. The Webkinz pets can give gifts to other Webkinz pets, so a kid who gives out her password could lose everything.

And, yes, you do end up collecting many pets. My kids have over 10 pets each! They have special holiday ones too. They are too cute to pass up.

Well Webkinz is what my daughter plays but these don't have collars. YOu can get them at Libby Lu, Limited Too, Hallmark Stores, etc.

We have both Webkinz and My E pets. The ones with the collar are E Pets and you can get them at Target or Wal Mart for under 10.00. My daughter prefers her Webkinz though. Good Luck- one Webkinz leads to another. We are up to 8 and my DD says she needs more!

She is talking about Webkins. They are adorable and remind me of my collection days of Beanie Babies. Any toy store or specialty shop such as Hobby Town have these. I am grandmother with 7 grandchildren ranging in ages of 2yrs to 23 yrs. So, I hope this helps.

I noticed the other day that Ty now has special Beanie Babies that have a code for online game play. I would think she was talking about webkinz, but the Ty ones are another option.

I believe she is wanting a Webkin - probably misspelled! You can find them mostly at any Gold Crown Hallmark stores. Another place to look is most Christian book stores will have them.

Your child will creat an account with a usermane and password and the webkinz site will print a birth certificate for the animal and a little about me page about the animal. She can play games and earn webkinz cash and but items for the animals room. It is a game that will be addictive. Just monitor her time on line..

There are several of these toys out. There is the robodog. Which has its own virtual world. Webkinz which is my favorite they have dogs and you can buy all kinds of accesories for the them. The world is better than robodog I think personally because you get to play games, it has educational games with every subject you can imagine, they can do fashion, they can go to school, go to work, decorate there home for there webkinz, and get daily prizes and cash. While doing all these things there earning vitual money which they can spend on there webkinz any way they please. On robodog your just taking care of the dog. I hope this helps!

There is also a brand called "My EPets" by the littlest pet shop brand. I liked the LPS one b/c it was cheaper than the webkins and she liked it better too. Hope this helps.
