Birthday Party Gift Etiquette

1 gift should be fine. We had a few guests arrive with siblings and they only brought one gift. I had no problem with that, since my son was getting too many gifts anyway, as far as I was concerned. We did have triplets show up who each brought a gift, but when we attended their birthday party we brought a gift for each one too.

Around here $15 - $25 seems to be the average range for a gift. It's hard to get anything decent for less than $15.

I'd just get one normal gift and have it be from both kids.

I would say get one gift unless your kids like to shop and pick out the gifts. Sometimes we will let our girls each pick something out but then we tell them they can pick out something as long as each item is not too expensive. We usually spend about $25-$30. HTH!

One gift from both kids - I have friends with 2 kids that get invited to my son's parties but I certainly do not expect 2 gifts from the same family - $15 - $25 (usually closer to $15 with the little ones b/c you can get so much more cheaper for them than the big kids!

My policy is give one gift from both kids. Just buy a gift in the amount you normally do and make it from both kids.
