Birthday Party 6 Year Old Boy

I am looking to do a birthday party outside of our home for my sons 6th birthday but don't know where. We have done the Bounce U thing numerous times and want something different. However the appeal is there because you get a private party and can enjoy yourself without being bothered by other guests and can keep a watch on your kids and party goers kids.

Any ideas?

What can I do next?

I've had a group called Jump Bunch do parties for my 3 year old and 5 year old, both boys. You can choose the activities and they totally take over keeping the kids busy for an hour or so. We held the parties in public parks so the kids could play both before and after the games. My older son's birthday is in May so we held it at a park with a spray pad which worked out great. I highly, highly recommend them.

I have had a problem limiting the number of kids invited in the past so I did it in open spaces. One year i hired the P.E. teacher to come and do an obstacle course in the park. I've hired a karate teacher to hold a karate lesson in my backyard (I did make arm bands for all the kids to put on their right arms so they could diffrentiate left from right:)) Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics use to come to any venue and set up a play thing with foam stuff. I know they still do a lot of parties at their gym as well.Nots of ideas out there.

We just went to a kid's party at Jumpstreet in Chandler. Very cool and fun place. For kids 7 and under you get to go in this bounce/slide area. You also get to go on the trampolines in a separate area than the kids 8 and up. You play for an hour and then you head to the back where they have party tables set up. We had pizza and cake. Then they played some more. The party was 2 hours. They had the party at 10:30am-12:30pm which was a good time since it wasn't too busy. It was perfect. My son will be turning 7 in May and we are thinking about having his party there. All the kids had a lot of fun.

The website is http://gotjump.com/chandler-az/

Good luck!

Marley Farms is a great place and the kids learn a lot about the animals. It is a rescue farm and has lots of different things like a camel, a zonkey( no that's not a typo), kangaroos and giant pigs. They offer pony rides and a bounce house. We have done 2 parties there and my daughter goes to horse camp on school breaks. Check out their website for more info.

Hi H C,
Don't know if this would be of interest to you. But if you have a Community Pool or a Friend's Community Pool you could use. We were able to use our friend's Community Pool and had a Pirate Party! It was so much fun! The biggest entertainment was swimming! I did a couple games but the biggest one was I bought coins and jewels and hid them (before the party) so the kids could have a treasure hunt. Their loot bags were paper bags but the favors that we gave them at the end of the party were actual cardboard treasure boxes that I filled with a couple jewels and ring pop. fruit roll ups, coins, compass. Everything including the Cardboard Treasure Boxes I found ALL at the $ (Dollar) Store!! There was a few things that I got elsewhere such as our Pinata but it was pretty inexpensive over all.

You could also do a party at Skateland and or a Ice Rink. In fact, we are going to a party at the local Ice Ring there in Gilbert this Sunday. We were invited to one at Skatland this past Spring and in July but we were unable to go to both those parties. I also know you could have them at Amazing Jake's (I believe it is in Chandler or Mesa).

Lastly if you are interested in the Pirate Party- message me directly and I could talk to you in more detail as to what we did. Plus we had some things left over.

Hope some of this helps!
